Actually he maintained dual citizenship (something I personally am against) until Netanyahu asked him to be Ambassador to the U.S. According to a NYTimes article from 2009, under ISRAEL law he could not be a dual citizen and function as an ambassador, so he renounced his US citizenship at the US Embassy in Tel Aviv. I think he did the right thing, because if he is more attached to his precious Israel than to the country into which he was born than fair thee well. But I loved the way Bob Simon nailed him. Moreover I was surprised at how many Americans were unaware of that gigantic and disgusting wall taller than the Berlin Wall, which Israel euphemistically likes to call their "security fence". It's about time the US mainstream media started reporting on Israel's fascist government tactics.
