Israel's Foreign Ministry ordered to 'reassess' EU involvement with Palestinians after decision to label West Bank goods; 'decision is almost completely devoid of any real significance,' official says.23:15 29.11.15 | 10 comments
This is an interesting article, but the reporter, Ofer Aderet, is leaving out something we're all curious about. What sort of reparations did Germany actually pay until now? I have no idea, and this article doesn't explore that. Merten was genuinely evil, no doubt, and should have died in a small prison cell. But that's not the only issue: how much and when did German reparation payments go to the Greek Jewish community? Further, and most obviously, why is the Central Board of Greek Jewry not touching this lawsuit? There's obviously a rift between them and the Salonican community.
