Unfortunately they wouldn't have listened and would have hurt you for even bringing up the idea of peaceful coexistence. Israel looked outnumbered and weak from the aftermath of the Holocaust. The neighboring Arab/Islamist armies looked strong and boasted of bringing on carnage against the Jews on the bloody order of the Crusades. Sorry but greed and covetousness lost out whereas acceptance and friendship would have won a State for the Palestinians-- thereby the self-imposed plight that I mentioned earlier that you don't seem to understand even after 64 years of glaring examples. What "occupation" would you like Israel to quit? Even the western most condo on Tel-Aviv's beaches? That's what the militant Palestinians wanted for many decades and you'd don't know that yet?
