He hasn't kept a thing at bay via a vis iran. drones from the comfort of las vegas are easy. sending in seal team 6, the only call to make, al alawki was easy...leading from behind in libya was easy and stupid. Egypt is a mess, libya is a mess.... iran is tough ...syria is tough...and on those 2 major issues, so far, obama has done very little. sanctions are not working even though the media wants us to think they are...stuxnet slowed it down but largely is not effective. Russia wont back strong sanctions let alone a military option ....and obama's reset button with russia was supposed to win over russia for just such issues like iran....the new kinder gentler multilateralism was supposed to win over china, it has not on the tough issues like iran... overall? Obama's FP is a failure ...only the PR looks good..but the actual substance is very weak.

from the article: Obama has kept Iran threat at bay, and U.S. Republicans know it
