Meir,see security as number one as you do. But our perspectives are different. You want to take things into your own hands all the time. I agreed with Sharon on the unilateral moves only because there was no positive responses on the other side. I think the Palestinians have legitimate gripes and you dont really care about that. I also agree that Israel should be a Jewish state (with something worked out for the refugees) until such time (probably never) when Israelis all live legimately in absolute peace with its neighbours and Palestine. (though you dont care about the Palestinians getting their own state apart from the ramifications to the demographics if they stay in Israel.I believe too that the demographics are a problem too that needs to be solved) Years ago we were all Zionists at any cost. Now reality dictates that we should be strong and secure but work with International powers to bring about a positive Palestine next to us.
