Traditionally military people are more inclined to favor military action than nonmilitary political leaders. The extremist nature of nuclear weapons calls into question whether the consequences of such an action, which cannot be recalled when instituted, was realized by Dayan. Eventually the nuclear equipped nations will have to accept the outlawing of such weapons in their own interests. No way will third world nations abandon their weapons while excusing their big brother nations to keep them.
