'the 21st century continues the carnage by large untouchable powers !' says V hardman. Not remotely on the scale of the 20th Century so far, thank goodness. But as a die-hard Israel-firster, you need to appreciate two important changes. One, there is a new world order, where a lot of the things that Israel does - occupation, settlement, collective military punishment of civilians, extra-judicial killings, etc - will only fly in one direction, straight to the Hague or, who knows one day quite soon, to concerted punitive action by the UN. Two, Israel is not 'a large untouchable power'. It is about the size and economic weight of Serbia, whose political and military leaders you may recall had the pleasure of visiting the Hague for similar indiscretions. The only broken phonograph in town is Israel going on with the same old dodgy actions, made-up justifications and clumsy propaganda that a child can see though.
