It is a well known fact that the greatest contributions of Jews to humanity, outside of the Bible, occurred in the Diaspora. The Romans created the Empire, but so what? Where would the Romans have been had they not absorbed the ideas of the Greeks before them? And what about the Greeks? They absorbed a civilization that preceded them, the Minoan, Aegean, and Cycladic civilizations, whose language cannot be deciphered until this day.
