I never cease to be amazed by Gaydamak's arrogance. He still doesn't live here on a full time basis, can't speak more than basic Hebrew, yet he presumes to run for Mayor of Jerusalem! Having said that, I think that Lupolianski's decision not to allow the veteran's parade (on the grounds that the noise would disturb municipal workers (from sleeping?)) is a foolish one and should be overturned immediately.
