May it fill the water reservoirs, specially the Kinneret, with abundant fresh water; may it irrigate the soil, the fields, nurture every cistern and well; may it do so to Gaza and the West Bank too. May it flush out all corruption and cynicism, all religious cohercion and all insensitivity; may it dispell the haze of a dysfunctional government, and may it bless every man, woman and child in Israel and the Palestinian territories. May it soften the hearts of those who hate, those who incite and lie, those who cheat and manipulate; may it soften the fanatic, cold-blooded hearts of terrorists and those who hold Gilad Shalit captive. May it bring new, fresh air, and may it bring the whole land closer to security and peace.
