Matt, you're throwing around phrases like "second-class citizens" and "apartheid". It's nice to be an idealist and have a simplistic view of the world. Please explain , what is it that makes Israeli Arabs "second-class citizens"? They have no right to vote ? Perhaps they are second-class citizens because only Druze and Circassians are drafted ? In your view "many jews are in fact Arabs". Could you please explain which jews are arabs and which ones aren't ? I'm part Sephardic and part Ashkenazi and am very interested to know this. There aren't thousands of young people marrying each other, dear Matt - there's still a low-key war going on in that part of the world, although, hopefully future negotiations will be fruitful.
