Nice piece on the museum, Danny. But the last man alive didn't "light a fire." The Romans set fire to the packed earth wall, after which the defenders realized that all was up with them, and the mass suicide is thought to have taken place. We can't be sure it happened, but it certainly might have done. I really don't see why even an interesting, intelligent article of this sort should prompt an idiotic unnecessary debate on the present confrontation. Why can't we just enjoy the history like other people, without this shrill self-justification all the time? Daniel Gavron
