As an American Jew living in Israel not really by choice (family thing...), I have to say that Mark Lincoln's comments are among the most intelligent here, and reflect (in my view) the feelings of a large portion of the US Jewish community. I'll choose a religious Jewish identity (and I'm not really all that religious...) over Yehoshua's secular nationalistic identity any day of the week. Nationalism has past its prime....
