That very true but Europe also offers them assistance that would never even be considered in the US. They are given subsidised housing, its not great its true but its cheap and as a first stop it helps. They can also tap into immediatly the generous welfare state , free medical care access to some of the best public eduaction in the world. Other immigrants came to france, Jews Poles italians spaniards portuguese, do you think they suffered any less form the insufferable snobbism the French can have towars others? and at a time when the Welfare was non existant. What you say about America is true and that helps alot, but if immigrants in France have their issues which no doubt they do, let them demonstrate let them organise politicaly etc. But this type of violence is not acceptable in country which still let us not forget gives them opportunities upon arrival that they would never in a million years get in their countries of origin.I look foward to seeing what role Muslim extremists had in this as well. its not easy being an immigrant for sure but trashing the town doesnt cut it either.
