Mr. Lincoln, You seem like an intelligent and decent fellow. It troubles me that you are sometimes so sarcastic and caustic in your criticism of the Israelis' actions. I do not lump you together with the pathetic propagandists often encountered here, but I urge you - as one of the too-few sensible voices - to be measured and fair. Hey, they're not angels, and their morality is only relative to the morality possible for armies at war. Do you think a tank crew should refrain from firing at a home from which an anti tank weapon is being aimed at them or their comrades because there is (or might be) a family there as well? How morally can any war be fought? It seems to me that the fighters stationed among the civillians have already done the evil deed of making those people part of a legitimate target. (I assert this with cognizance of the fact that they might not have many or any good alternatives. One cannot always win in real life, even if one believes in the cause!)
