    - of your post. i guess, if you had been jewish you'd make a perfect 'leftist' israeli right now (something they'd definitely need). i also believe israelis are capable of putting things right, & they won't have to go beyond the system the way it currently stands (incl. they're gonna show they're capable of reforming the gaps of the system responsible for the dysfunctionality you're talking about). but frankly, why expect any democracy to avoid a swing in an opposite direction of what might show to be the best path to follow in a given moment /period. of course, this may be costly & without a doubt so in a case like the israeli one. please just remember that you americans didn't all change due to the 8 years' 'swing' your country just had, & we all know it was a problematic period indeed. the point is, you had to fight & work to try to correct whatever was getting wrong & you did, but had to do it while following all the rules of the game. cheers, -
