As a person living a mile from Ground Zero whose lungs were seriously damaged by fumes from the burning ruins, I totally agree. Also, as a NYC history buff, I think it significant that in the same neighborhood in the 1840s and 1850s, Catholics had to form local defense groups to keep nativists from burning their churches. Same people, different times and religion.
