I think you'll find if you add "Israel" to your list you'll find that there is no difference whatsoever, what with them all being countries. You see,the words Russia, Australia, America, Canada and England are all NOUNS, and the word Jew is an adjective! (And I was under the impression English was the language of instruction at school in Australia...?!?!). As for the rest of your statement, I think you'll find that the word "Jew" in the dictionary has different meanings to yours, but coming from you, that doesn't surprise me. I'd much rather believe in an 'imaginary friend' as you put it than trace my ancestry to convicts from England.
