You seem unaware that the mightiest Arab army in 1948, the British-trained Arab Legion under Transjordan, invaded only the portions of Palestine that were to go to the Arab state under the UN plan, not the Jewish State (i.e. NOT Israel). In fact, most reports claim that there was an understanding between the Zionists and Abdullah I to carve Palestine between the two of them. The Arab attack was much more to prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state than it was against Israel. I know this fact might upset your arguments, but facts are facts. The territory of partition-plan Israel was barely breached.
