Typical criticism of Zionism, however the premise is faulty. First, most of the Orthodox nations favor the established 'tribal' religion. Muslim Armenians are really Azeris, Muslim Greeks are Turks and Muslim Bulgarians are a separate ethnic group. Even though these don't consider Muslim Greeks, armmenians or Bulgarians to be the same as the dominant ethnic group. The religion is integral to the dominant ethnic group. Most of these have a right of return for the dominant ethnic group to in gather their diaspora as does Denmark, Serbia, Russia, Turkey, Germany and many others. Lastly, the Jewish state guarantees refuge to Jews thruout the diaspora in case the locals turn on their Jewish neighbors as has almost every country, Christian or Muslim, done at one time or another. Only in the case of Israel do certain so-called progressives consider this wrong. No one has a problem when Germany,Russia, Greece ,Denmark,Turkey, Serbia, Hungary, Armenia, Hungary and other states offer automatic citizenship to their ethnic, cultural breathren. The bottom line is - it doesn't matter. Like any other state, Israel has the right to define itself as it wishes. Once the two state solution is defined ( and I have no doubt that it will) Israel will have a virtually permanent Jewish majority.
