Jews are notable voices in the anti-circumcision movement. For example, late Brazilian psychoanalyst Moisés Tractenberg, author of "Psicanálise da Circuncisão". He found from his patients that circumcision often left men with a life-long mental state similar to rape victims: a constant sense of anger, resentment, mistrust, lowered self-esteem, and even suicidal tendencies.
