It boils down to this: we can't swing the Big Stick on Gaza, so we should take out our frustrations by swinging the Big Stick on the West Bank instead. That should squish a whole lotta Arabs, making Israel feel a whole lot better - especially as there will be lots more to squish because of all of the "expulsion of terrorism supporters" (wink, wink, nudge, nudge) that Israel will be doing at the same time. But here's the kicker: having spent the entire article linking the Gaza to the West Bank he says: "Even if we achieve a real cease-fire in the Gaza Strip, at least one year of quiet should pass until the cease-fire is extended to the West Bank" Well, Hello!! Reality Calling! If you continue to attack the West Bank then there will be *no* ceasefire in Gaza, and nor should there be; you are asking HAMAS to cease fire THERE while YOU attack HERE.
