naive puppies don't usually know much about history of the region malone, and you fit that profile quite well. If you knew anything you would know that the Syrian Iranian nexus is one of great convenience for both parties 'now' but there is no pedigree for it and on the contrary a long history of animosity. So when the game plan changes [Syria gets the Golan] the relationship with Iran becomes less than useful and more of a burden. Meanwhile Syria needs Iran and Hizbollah and they are using both to full advantage.
