It astonishes me that it's reported the US's main concern "is establishing a Palestinian state" and its "core" would have a "Palestinian state with contiguous territory that ends the occupation." So: 1. Israel's security is secondary. 2. Israel would have to give the "Palestinian" state land from pre-1967 Israel in order to establish "contiguous territory." Was this "document" written in Iran, Syria, or Ramallah? If it is from Washington, it is obvious that the Obama administration demands that Israel comply and that Israel will be blamed for not caving in to this demand for national suicide. Bottom, line is that it is hard to believe that even the Obama administration would do that.
