Jews immigrated legitimately since at least the mid 18th century to what was then Turkish ruled Palestine, and continued to do so under the British without displacing anybody. The refugee problem was generated by the civil war which started as the result of Arab armies attacking the Jewish state. After 2000 years of persecution by Europeans we Jews are finally granted by you the status of "Europeans" (thank you, no more interest in that). If we Jews are "just Europeans vis-av-vias the natives (a very static and historically incorrect view)" why was it the right thing to do to grant as a state of our own? Why did we "Europeans" (you completely neglect 50% of the Jews living in Israel who live for hundreds and thousands of years in the region) immigrate to Israel of all places in the first place? Anyway, there is now for more than 60 years a quite successful state of Israel, it is time for a Palestinian one, but this will only be possible if the Palestinians stop indulging in narratives and pipe dreams.
