Amir, The fact that you used the words "looted" when referring to Israel's capture of spoils of war is very troubling. It unfortunately shows the leftist leaning of you and Haaretz. The funny part of your poor writing skills are exhibited later on in your article, when you waffle back and forth between using the word "capture" and "looted". I really think that firstly as a journalist, you should research and read your story and uniform your wording, then your editor should reread it and have you rewrite it again. Bottom line is that you are obviously in the camp of Israel bashers that take every opportunity to knock the very difficult decisions that governments face with all the information that they have and you did not, and still do not have. Not everything is black and white, as we do not know the pressures or deals that the USA offered to that government at that time, but you write your dribble to play to the leftist readers that you court instead of writing a correct article of what really happened. In the future I hope that you will research and write in a balanced manner. Gabriel A. Levy Long Branch, NJ, USA
