Hmm, In thinking about who started what vis-a-vis Zionists & Palestinians one must look back to the pre-Shoah settlement efforts. Of course, so much of the history of the world is of one group of people seizing land then occupied by another group of people. On that basis then, Israel has as much right to exist as the USA, including in the Occupied Territories. It should come as little surprise, however, that the native peoples here continue to use arms as it took as long or longer for the USA to overwhelm our Native Americans and we had much greater numbers (albeit poorer technology). The Hezbollah "missile" demonstrates that the window for a definitive peace agreement is shrinking. Redraw the borders so the Palestinians get the S. W. Bank and land to link to the Red Sea (& maybe Gaza w/ or without beaches) and Israel gets the N. W. Bank and Jereusalem (with space for a Palest. capital also). Water may remain an issue, but it's far more workable than a patch here and there.
