"he (the Bibi) would not change government policy on construction in East Jerusalem, which has not changed in the 42 years it has been in Israeli hands." Illegitimate hands. Occupation hands. Obey the law, as all decent nations do. This is not some legendary God-sanctioned conquest of a native people, as described in Deuteronomy. Joshua was ordered to take every city, home, olive grove, vineyard, cistern from the Canaanites then to slaughter every man, woman, child. Israel is behaving like Joshua and the cookoo Bible fanatics are applauding. We are no longer in the Bronze Age. Enter the 21st century. Slavery was practiced for millennia. It was wrong. The policy has changed. Denying women the vote was legal for millennia. It was wrong. The policy has changed. Stoning people for adultery was a law according to the Torah. It was wrong. The policy has changed. Building in occupied East Jerusalem has been gong on for 42 years. It is wrong. The policy must be changed.
