""We must not accept a new norm under which we will be expected to pay for diplomatic support or military aid that we have received up until now only by virtue of the alliance [with the United States]." They want the 3 billion a year AND the F35s AND diplomatic protection at the UN AND they don't want to give anything at all in return. That's how it's been in the past after all for America's spoiled teenager. Suddenly Obama and Clinton have actually said they want something in return. They want a settlement freeze and negotiations that aren't the usual fakes, but that actually force Israel at last to define what it thinks its borders are. The Likud rebels have spotted what's happened and they don't like it! Mind you rejecting the deal at thi spoint just screams 'Israel isn't serious about peace, let's all hand it over the UN!' So it should be interesting to see what happens.
