Load of bullshit. Hamas been in control of Gaza Strip for a long time, still they haven't imposed any "shariah" and other islamist groups been attacking them for being not islamic enough. If they forbid whores, alcohol, and promiscuity who cares, it's their cultural thing, just as we allow alcohol, but forbid people working on shabbos and should forbid whores and promiscuity. If you look over the world you will find "civilized" countries and cultures with laws and prohibitions that we'd consider idiotic. It's their choice. Do we really want them to impose and decide what we should and shouldn't do? So who are we to even bother our heads with all the stupid stuff they do as long as it doesn't impose on us. Let them have their "heaven" as long as we do keep ours. Time to leave them to their devices, create proper border defense, cooperate where is benefits us and them so to discourage further offensive action. I'm of the belief that they can and will police themselves way better than we can them, and at a much lesser cost as long as they have reason to keep peace with us. There will always be propaganda but we are way better, and still have much support even though it is eroding as sandstone in a river. We better take unilateral steps now before someone takes them for us.
