Israel was indeed involved in the previous border-arrangement, but now we are merely spectators. But of course - is it obvious that Livni/Kadima have prevented this development? Well, who knows? As for now, Netanyahu has decided to wait and see how the egyptians handle the situation. The other aspect: if Livni is right (Hamas is becoming stronger), then this becomes an even bigger obstacle to peace, and this enables Netanyahu to procrastinate. But then again - if Hamas fires more advanced rockets against civilians in Israel, then we will respond, and then the egyptians will have to explain why they don´t fight the weapon smugglers.
