'The prison walls don't keep out the change underway today in society about breaking the silence of sexual assault victims,' says therapy group leader Tamar Krock-Zamir.16:16 29.04.16 | 0 comments
Israel is gradually being backed into a corner from which it can choose to disentangle itself -or not. It can either make it clear that it wants to achieve a 2-state settlement - by now it must be obvious what is a "fair" settlement based on the blueprint of the Geneva Accord - or it can contine to play diplomatic games. The latter course will leave it increasingly isolated, both in terms of public opinion and in waning economic and military support. Is it strong enough to rely just on its own resources within the ME. I doubt it? Or it can find the Jewish homeland killed off by its amalgamation into a single bi-national state. The UN legitimised Israel. It can do so for Palestine. Will Israel be strong enough to take on virtually the whole world and maintain the status quo? Its current government is encouraging like-minded citizens to think that it is omnipotent. Will they wake up to reality before it is too late?
