Intelligent Design is simply a reshuffling of creationist ideals to once again try to gain entry into public schools. The churchies have failed time and time again to get prayer and worship into public schools. Now they are trying again under the guise of science. Any theory of the origin of life that relies on a super-natural agent is by definition not science. If they want this curriculum taught in schools, it belongs in philosophy or world religion, but NEVER in a science class. They tried this crap in the school district I live in (and where my children go to school,) and there was a huge backlash. And here in Smalltown, USA, the churchies are everywhere. They brainwash their children, who then harass my children at school for not believing in Jebus. We've had numerous incidents of harassment because I won't cram ideology down my kids throats. They can believe what they want, if they want to go to church, I would take them, but they have proved more open minded than I could have hoped for. I don't know when I lost my faith, I didn't notice and I certainly never missed it. Ex. Governor of Minnesota Jesse Ventura said it better than I can: religion is a crutch for the weak minded.
