"In a telephone conversation late Thursday, Lieberman reiterated his stance that bringing the report for vote in the Security Council or at a General Assembly would harm Middle East peace talks. The Palestinians should not be allowed to hold negotiations with Israel on a local level while fighting against it in the international sphere, he said." What, so the Pals can't even talk to Israel unless they cease all and any disputes witH Israel? Has Lieberman ANY idea how ridiculous he sounds? We all know Bibi's government isn't going to offer Abbas anything more than economic peace bantustans, so frankly why should the Pals care if Israel won't speak to them? At least by supporting Goldstone the Pals have the fun of watching Bibi's government squirm. It would be worth passing up fake peace talks for the joy of that alone.
