Lieberman asked eminently sensible questions; the gist of them being how can Arab legislators be members of Knesset if they refuse to pledge allegiance to the State of Israel? They view themselves as Palestinians and rightfully so. Therefore, as of now they should relinquish their Knesser seats (voluntarily or otherwise) and, with the creation of Palestinian state (Gaza today, West Bank tomorrow), they should voluntarily (or otherwise) move to the Palestinian territory. What is so peculiar about it? Either they are loyal Israeli citizens ( and, as such, they can loyally disagree while maintaining their exclusive allegiance to Israel) or they are Palestinians, in which case they have no place deciding the fate of a foreign ( for them) state.
