Seems the Koran advises not to argue about theology: Koran, Sura 22, verses 67-69: “To every People have We given rites which they must follow: so let them not dispute with you on the matter, but do invite them to your Lord for you are assuredly on the right path. And if they wrangle with you, say, ‘Allah knows best what you do’. Allah will judge between you on the Day of Judgment concerning the matters in which you used to differ”. and: Koran, Sura 5, Verse 69: Lo! Those who believe, and those who are Jews, and Sabaeans, and Christians - whoever believe in Allah and the Last Day and do what is right - no fear shall come upon them, nor shall they grieve. And re possible corruption of some Koranic text: Koran, Sura 3, verse 78: "There is among them a section who distort the Book with their tongues, (as they read it) so that you would think it is part of the Book, but it is no part of the Book; and they say, 'That is from Allah', but it is not from Allah: It is they who tell a lie against Allah, (and) well they know it."
