We Israelis are obviously too tyrannical for our own good, and anybody else's - right? So let's solve the problem with a one-state solution: Palestine. Brilliant solution, no? Shaaria law for everybody! Women and girls in their place in the kitchen or on their backs! Gays executed or deported or jailed! But in Palestine, it's not tyranny, it's Palestinian culture! It's lovely. It respects human rights - well, at least the human rights of the guys in power... And, of course, anybody who is suspected of breaking the law or looking the wrong way at somebody's sister, or who is dressed the wrong way or who questions authority....well, the majority wants them shot in the head and their body displayed hanging from an electricity pole. Standard Palestinian treatment for malfeasance... Gideon Levy will live there very happily... He won't write about it, of course, but will just write about the "bad old days" when the evil Zionists ruled....
