The amazing thing is that Levy purports to be a proponent of liberal democratic thinking. A man who cannot persuade his own countrymen of his position using the legitimate democratic tools of open and free debate (which in Israel exists in the extreme) encourages a foreign superpower to impose his views by force on his country. A true democrat, Levy so lost in his own elitist polemic does not allow any facts to upset his conclusions. Not the barbaric nature of many surrounding regimes (Yemen, sudan, Saudia, Iran, Algeria, etc. etc.) nor the resurgence of medievalism in the form of radical Islam and its local advocates, Hamas and Hizbulla. No all the problems start and end with Israel. Our friends writing in from Europe should be looking for chat rooms about the Belgian elections. That is where their continent is headed with their own Islamo-fascist problem. Welcome to the club.
