Why should anyone give in to the self-righteous outrage which is sure to come that some how Palestinian claim to a wall is beyond the pale. Are you kidding me? Jews can claim ownership to a house occupied by a Palestinian - to land he owns - take them all away from them in a instant - on the imagery claim such property is Jewish. The settlement project is such a small glaring example but all of Israel grew out of this psychotic detached logic. Palestinians say wait a minute, if Jews can claim land in Ramallah as Jewish - why can't Palestinians claim this old tired stack of rocks as belonging to them? The question is who decided one should accept the premise a wall is more important than a home? A home or property a deed can prove ownership. The claim the wall is Jewish is not supported by anything - unless you include fairy tales. Therefore, hard to have any sympathy for Israel in this debate over the official position of the PA on the wall. The day Jews stop making claims and expanding on the West Bank and East Jerusalem is the day one should take this wall business somewhat seriously.
