The need to preempt Iran and export gas to Egypt was the reason the government gave to push through its controversial plan for Israel's natural gas. Now, this reason may no longer exist.08:52 31.08.15 | 1 comments
Very smart... let the international force come and do the fighting in Lebanon and clean that country from destabilizing forces. Let it all happen within the borders of that country... and Israel stays safe. Any rocket that will be fired to Israel thereafter or any kidnapping or killing at the border will clearly show the reality of Lebanon to the world and the int. force must resolve this problem. Israel will make sure of that. Now Olmert is putting some more pressure on the world by forcing the IDF deep inside Lebanon. Until the world will say: "enough! let the int. force come in." Israel has won and can continue its business. Lebanon is stuck with an international force and will have an internal political problem... and which sectarian group inside Lebanon will use the int.force for its purpose? If the French want, let them go inside the Lebanese marsh.
