Israel doesn't give a toss who does and who doesn't recognize her and has zero interest in what a disjointed, powerless, "state" by the name of "Palestine" thinks of her. Israel has a list of "obstacles" she utilizes to retain the status quo in the region because Israelis are convinced that its what's best for them. Any foreign pressure on Israel to now press for a Palestinian state is bound to be met by a dissection and possible distortion of the Hamas statement to further delay and even destroy any goodwill. One need not be surprised by any of all this and understand that there are only two ways to bring about justice to the Palestinians and indeed peace in the ME. They are: 1. Sanctions - can do miracles 2. Re-education - Good luck :)
