Historical Facts: The only people ever issued citizen papers with the label Palestinian in Israel's history were Jews. The Arabs living in Palestine during recent history had lived under Turkish parsha and British Mandate, not on their own land. The Arabs who lived with the Jews during these years were incited to violence by the British Mandate - at those hands they learned suicide bombing. In the end, the British left a smoldering hotbed behind and escaped, as they have done repeatedly throughout the world. The Arabs were not "forced from their homes" at the end of the Six Day War. The Arab leaders, Jordan, Egypt, etc spread scandalous rumors that they would be poisoned, murdered if they stayed and promised to annihilate the Jews and give them Israel quickly. To this day, these same leaders, with the exception of Jordan, have turned their back on their "brothers" and refused to offer them land, home or country. The Arabs who did not flee have lived in Israel for the last 38 years relatively safely with the exception of so-called Palestinian suicide bombers. Some have prospered, some have not, but the same is true for the Jews who have settled here since then. Israel and the self-named refugees have received millions of dollars from governments around the world in the last 38 year. Here is the difference, Israel has used the money to build homes, cities, businesses, schools, universities and make the land bloom. The "refugees" trusted their leaders and chose violence. The monies disappeared with the Egyptian - not Israeli - born Arafat and his wife chooses to live in luxury in France, on the grants, while the people starve. My prayer - that the people who are allowed by Abu Mazen to move into Gaza are aided in every way to make the land bloom, develop towns / cities, businesses and prosper. Why? Those who are prosperous and have happy lives want peace.
