Israel says the settlement is illegal. As in AGAINST THE LAW. That means the settlers are not settlers. They are illegal squatters. Yet the taxpayers are expected to give them housing to the tune of a minimum of NIS fifty million. And the government doesn't find this awkward? And the taxpayers trying to grind out a living for their families are OK with this expenditure benefiting people who are basically criminals according to Israeli law? This boggles the mind.
