Fatah because there is no ceasefire with Israel in the West Bank. No, it doesn't work that way. HAMAS remained wedded to the idea of violence as a means to the Palestinians political goals and kept up its attacks from Gaza from the Very moment Israel moved out every last Jew, living and dead. It is not hijinks for a nation to stop attacks on its citizens. No state would put up with rocket attacks on its cities, and the response from most would be far harsher than what Israel has done to date. In fact, the easiest way to end the violence is for the Palestinians to stop shooting rockets at Israeli towns. That too, will lead to the negotiating table.
