First you told us that Israel's presence in Gaza was fueling anti-Israel sentiment. Now you're telling us that Israel's withdrawal from Gaza is fueling anti-Israel sentiment. Let's cut to the chase, shall we? Israel's existence is fueling anti-Israel sentiment. Why are we bending over trying to appease terrorists and weakening moderates? Why not openly crush the terrorists and reward the moderates? There are no moderates in Gaza, by any stretch of the imagination. Abbas, who published a PhD in Holocaust Denial, is no moderate either. There are plenty of Palestinian moderates, but we are only negotiating with the extremists because they happen to hold the power. Forget power. Negotiate with the moderates and they will grow stronger over time.
