Katsav's lawyers seem just a desperate as as Katsav was during his famous press conference. This guy pulled out all the stops, had the gall to portray himself as a victim in the face of all his accusers. Recently, the main accuser "alef" as she is know in the press was interviewed by an eminent foreign newspaper in which she explained in plain simple English exactly what transpired. Well put ?aleph? on the witness stand and assure you somebody is going to do some serious time (obviously, none of this text has yet appeared in print here in Israel). This girl is young, very good looking and has the ball to stand up against somebody of power that really hurt her. She wants justice and sticks to her principles. Alas, every person who?s a who?s who in Israel is probably asking how can we send a President or former President to jail?! This case needs to go to court as part of a process to create a more just and equal and balanced society. U corrupt politicians and appointees take note...!
