Dear Lena, Please read what the article says rather than what you persuaded yourself it does due to your hatred of Israel. This is because to me it seems that you read a different article to the one I read. The article says that the new pope is good for the Jews as he advocates good relations between Jews and Christians by promoting understanding. The article does not conclude that the new pope is the best choice for the entire world, only because he is good to the Jews. The article only deals from the Jewish perspective as simple as that, without declaring that he is the best choice for all. Tomorrow there might be an article deals with other angles i.e. attitude to contraception, women, and homosexuality and will conclude that the new pope is not the ideal person. If you think that it is important to fight anti-Semitism than you should welcome a pope that wants to do so, but maybe it is fine by you to let some Christians to associate Jews with the killing of Jesus as a prime criteria. You are welcome to answer it. Israel-Palestine: If the new pope is like his predecessor, then he supports the two states solution based on the 1967 borders and also will be a good friend of Islam, Should I twist the argument like you and conclude that because of that the new pope is anti-Jewish? Such logical inference is ludicrous. Another comment you made is that because the web site is an Israeli one it should not be on the web in English. My reply is that you don't seem to believe in a democracy if your idea of freedom of speech is only to publish a web site that agrees with your opinion. In other words your idea of democracy is 'either you with me or against me.' For the record the site often criticizes Israel, so you can sleep well tonight. Curiosity: Do you believe that Israel have the right to exist at all as an independent state? Is it important to fight Anti-Semitism?
