If I understand the basis of this article is that the terrorists are using Qassams, which have a limited range therefore if you annexe the land bordering Israel you'll create a buffer zone. What do you then do when, as they will, the terrorists get advanced rockets with a longer range? Annexe more land? The more land you annexe the more potential terrorists you create. How long will it be before other countries in the Middle East feel increasingly threatened by an expanding Israel? And how long will it then be before Israel is not just facing terrorists, but another full-blown war in the Middle East? What would such a war cost Israel?
