The Greek Government may have taken a political decision, yet the Port Authorities cannot allow a shipload of civilians on a cruise into a war zone. I doubt that any civilized country would allow the latter. All this talk about Greece caving into pressure from Israel, may have certain merits, for Israel cannot guarantee the safety of said passengers / activists once reaching Israel sovereign waters, mainly because these activists are considered hostile and above all are aiding and abetting a terrorist movement called Hamas which has been noted as a terrorist entity by the West. Again and finally, Greece is a member of the UN,EU and NATO, they are obliged not to aid any entity that is considered a hostile proxy of Iran. Contentious.? Sure. Good day, from sunny Swiss Alps.
