Listening to a book on cd right now entitled Hitler's Holy Relics. Hitler and the People of Nuremburg believed in a bunch of mystical nonsense about the so-called Spear Of Destiny. The one that was said to have pierced Jesus. They made a shrine to all these religious relics and believed in the power of these objects to protect Nuremburg and Germany. In the end, Nuremburg was nearly obliterated and subsequently, the vault containing the relics was vandalized after the war. The irony was that the Germans guarding the vault stole the Jewels and left the Spear behind like it was nothing. Since evidently these objects did nothing to protect the Reich, the Germans figured out that it was just a lump of metal and nothing more. Grabbed the Jewels because they could sell those. I think it's the same sometimes with Nationalism and especially if people think that everyone in America and Israel are completely safe because we have God on our side. History has shown that it doesn't work that way. People sacrificed their lives to protect their countries and the United States beat the Germans at great cost. If Israel wants to survive, it cannot just rely solely on Nationalism, Technology, and Militarism. Those things help sometimes but things haven't always gone our way. The Jewish People, you know! You see that vote coming up at the UN? You see the countries lining up behind the Palestinians and the Arab League. Then there are the problems with Iran and people who just hate Jews and Israel in general. What I want to say is that you cannot rely solely on some Jewish Spear of Destiny. You require diplomacy and lots of it. Israel need Diplomatic Immunization along with everything else they have in order to survive. Not a lot of buffer there and your enemies live next door. Good Luck!

Netanyahu climbing out of the Rahav, the 5th submarine in the Israel Navy's fleet

Netanyahu trades Israel's democracy for a shtetl with German submarines

Tossing Arab MKs out of Knesset was a new low in Netanyahu's assault on democracy, but de facto, Israel is already an ex-'Jewish democratic' state.
